Welcome
Four centuries of history, still in place
Corte Breda is the result of restoring an old stone farmhouse built around an enclosed courtyard in the early 17th century. The long restoration did nothing to change the spirit of the place: all the original materials were restored and reused, beams included, and where something was missing it was replaced with materials of historical and artistic interest.
The inner cloister, with its gardens and its 17th-century well, has been left intact. Because the courtyard is enclosed, guests enjoy complete privacy and a silence that seems impossible just a few minutes from the motorway exit.

The 17th-century vaulted hall
The old cowshed is now our dining room: cross vaults, reproductions of Pompeian-style frescoes and a 16th-century stone fireplace. The kitchen uses vegetables from our garden, fruit from our orchard and produce from local producers.
The restaurant is open by reservation, for lunch and dinner.

What our guests say
-
Although it stands on the edge of town, it feels like being in the countryside. The garden in front is very well kept, but it is the courtyard that is extraordinary, with a column in the centre topped by a statue of an angel. The breakfast room, the portico and even the gateway itself all speak of history and care. I found the room spacious, with lovely windows and a modern bathroom. Very clean. The owner, Franco, is extremely helpful and has a courtesy that is rare nowadays; he pointed me to two trattorias (he knows everyone) where I ate wonderfully, and which were unknown to the staff of the plant I was visiting for work; he waited up for me in the evening even though I arrived late because of a delayed flight. Parking is easy and convenient.

Franco gave us a wonderful welcome to his superb home. It was an overnight stop on the way back from our holidays and we slept extremely well. Top-notch breakfast, good and plentiful, in a superb 17th-century vaulted hall. In short, a perfect stop.
-
A very beautiful estate with a dreamlike courtyard. While the heat in town is almost unbearable, here it is pleasant. The staff are very friendly. The owner, Franco, is very funny and had excellent restaurant recommendations.

The place is superb, the rooms very pretty and comfortable. The people are lovely and the breakfast delicious! We came across it completely by chance and are delighted to have discovered it.
-
Lovely place with lovely staff. Great room and surroundings. The owner recommended a restaurant close by that was very nice.
-
The personal attention of the owner, Franco. If you like nature tourism, it is the ideal place. And for celebrations of any kind, too. The place is a beautiful farmhouse.
-
The accommodation is beautifully set in the countryside, very quiet and ideal for relaxing. The welcome was very warm and the staff generally attentive. The room was big enough, with every comfort.

Farmhouse surrounded by greenery where peace and tranquility reign. Owners very kind and willing to let us find the room ready in the morning (we had to attend a wedding and we wanted to settle down before the ceremony). Very good breakfast.
